In a heart-stopping moment at a Mexico City metro station, quick-acting passengers saved a man's life by pulling him from the tracks just moments before an oncoming train arrived.
Security cameras captured the dramatic rescue at the busy Balderas station on Line 3 of the capital's metro system. The footage shows the man suddenly falling onto the tracks as a train approaches in the distance.
Seconds to Spare
Without hesitation, several passengers leaped into action. Two men immediately jumped down onto the tracks while others reached down to help. Working together, they managed to haul the man to safety with mere seconds to spare before the train entered the station.
"The response was incredible," said a metro official who reviewed the footage. "These ordinary people became heroes in an instant."

The incident has reignited discussions about safety measures in Mexico City's aging metro system, which carries millions of passengers daily. This comes just two years after a catastrophic overpass collapse that killed 26 people.
