Drivers are facing delays on the M62 this morning (August 11) after two lanes were shut on the westbound carriageway between junction 23 for Huddersfield and junction 22 for Rishworth Moor.
Fire services activity and animals on road
According to traffic alert service Inrix, 'fire services activity' is underway at the scene. Meanwhile, traffic is being temporarily held on the eastbound side between junctions 22 and 23 due to 'animals on the road' as of 8.55am.
Queues are building on both sides of the motorway.
