Drivers are facing delays on the M60 this morning (August 12) after two separate incidents caused queues in both directions. The road is partially blocked following a crash on the anticlockwise carriageway between junctions 18 at Simister Island and 17 at Prestwich and Whitefield. Traffic is tailing back past junction 19 of the M62 westbound at Heywood, and on the M60 anticlockwise near Heaton Park.
Delays on the clockwise carriageway
There are also delays on the M60 clockwise approaching the crash scene on the other side of the motorway. Meanwhile, traffic is also queueing on the M60 clockwise approaching junction 15 at Pendlebury, where the road is also partially blocked following an incident.
