Traffic is building in Daresbury and on the M6 this afternoon as people leave the Creamfields music festival. Traffic monitoring site Inrix has warned there are "long delays" on the roads nearby, with congestion close to the festival site.
Lane closures on the M6
One lane is closed on the M6 between junction 19 at Knutsford and junction 20 at Lymm interchange due to a broken down vehicle. Another lane has been closed further up in Lancashire between junction 28 at Leyland and junction 27 at Standish due to a broken down lorry.
