A serious multi-vehicle collision has caused chaos on the M6 motorway this morning, leading to severe delays and a partial closure of the northbound carriageway.

The incident occurred on the M6 northbound between Junction 8 for the M5 and Junction 9 for Wednesbury in the West Midlands. Emergency services were called to the scene following a collision involving three vehicles: two vans and a car.
