A train has derailed near Lewes in Sussex, closing all lines through the station and causing major disruption to rail services until 10pm.

National Rail said all lines through Lewes station are currently closed while emergency services attend the incident. Trains are unable to run through the area, with major disruption expected until 10pm.
Services between Ore, Eastbourne and Seaford towards Brighton, as well as routes between Ore and Eastbourne and London Victoria, are affected.
Passengers urged to stay on trains
Passengers whose trains are delayed between stations have been urged to remain on board and follow instructions from staff. National Rail warned people not to leave a train unless they are specifically told to do so, describing the railway as a hazardous environment.
Emergency services are at the scene, and further updates are expected as the situation develops.
