Jet2 Issues 12-Hour Warning for Passengers This Summer

Jet2, Britain's third-largest airline, has advised passengers to check the latest travel information on its website at least 12 hours before their flight. The airline urges travellers to ensure they are aware of any last-minute updates that could affect their journey.

The guidance states: "Please check this section of the website at least 12 hours before your flight for the latest flight information." Jet2 also recommends arriving at the airport at least two hours before the scheduled departure time, noting that check-in desks close 40 minutes before departure.

Jet2 operates from several UK airports, including Liverpool John Lennon, Manchester, and Glasgow, serving over 75 destinations across Europe and beyond. Passengers can check in online from 28 days up to five hours before departure, depending on the destination.

The airline also offers a Twilight Check-In service for flights departing before midday. This allows passengers to drop off their bags the evening before at selected airports, including Birmingham, Bristol, and London Stansted. The service is free and available between 16:30 and 21:00.

Jet2 was recently named the best short-haul airline in the world by Which? for the fourth consecutive year, achieving an 80% customer satisfaction score for its service, booking process, cleanliness, and value for money.
