Jet2 has advised passengers to regularly check their email and text messages for potential flight changes. The airline explained that while it aims to operate flights on schedule, alterations may be necessary for operational or technical reasons beyond its control.
In a statement on its website, Jet2 said: "Sometimes we may need to make changes or provide alternative carriers or aircraft and cannot always notify you of this in advance." The airline emphasised that it gives as much notice as possible when changes occur.
Passengers are urged to update their contact details via the Manage My Booking section and to re-check their flight summary 72 to 24 hours before departure. Jet2 also recommends checking the latest travel information on its website at least 12 hours before the flight.
The airline advises arriving at the airport at least two hours before departure, noting that check-in desks close 40 minutes before the scheduled time. These steps aim to keep travellers informed amid any schedule adjustments.
