A massive fire has engulfed an industrial estate in West Lothian, prompting a swift response from emergency services. The alarm was raised around 3:20 PM on Sunday, June 14, when fire crews received reports of a blaze at Deans Industrial Estate on Caputhall Road in Livingston.
Emergency Response
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dispatched four appliances and one height appliance to the scene to combat the raging inferno. Firefighters remain on site as efforts to bring the fire under control continue.
Witness Accounts
Photos and videos shared with the Record show bright orange flames bursting through the roof of a building, with thick black smoke billowing into the sky. Locals have expressed concern on social media, with some reporting seeing the blaze from as far as Culross and the road to Burntisland.
The area has been cordoned off to the public, and one fire engine is parked nearby.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We received a call at 3:20 PM on Sunday, June 14, to attend a fire on Caputhall Road in Livingston. Four appliances and one height appliance were deployed."
It is not yet known whether any injuries have occurred or if Police Scotland or the Scottish Ambulance Service are in attendance.
