The video, posted by @huyameishuoche, shows how to access the boot by folding down the rear seats. Once inside, a 'life-saving switch' can be pressed to open the boot from the inside, providing an alternative exit route. This could be crucial in scenarios such as a car submerged in water, where doors cannot be opened due to water pressure.
The clip has garnered over 23,000 views, highlighting the importance of knowing your vehicle's safety features. The TikToker describes the escape method as 'very simple' and emphasises that being prepared could make all the difference in a crisis.
