Heathrow trains hit by flooding, Elizabeth line disrupted

Flooding between Hayes & Harlington and Heathrow is causing major disruption to trains between central London and the airport on Monday morning.

Transport for London (TfL) reports no service on the Elizabeth line between the west London station and Heathrow terminals, with severe delays on lines to Paddington. National Rail says a tunnel has been closed for safety reasons, reducing the number of trains that can run.

Reduced service and disruption timeline

Heathrow Express is operating a reduced service. National Rail expects the disruption to last until 9am, with fewer trains able to run in the meantime.
