National Highways has announced a series of planned overnight closures on major roads across Greater Manchester from Monday, June 29, to Thursday, July 2. The closures affect the M6, M60, M62, M56, M66 and A34, among others.
Monday, June 29 Closures
On Monday, the A34 southbound Weston on the Green entry slip road closes from 21:00 to 06:00, and the A34 northbound Marcham to Hinksey Hill carriageway closes 21:00 to 06:00. The M56 eastbound sees closures at Jct 4 entry slip and Jct 3 exit slip (21:00-06:00).
The M6 southbound has multiple closures: Jct 19 to 18 carriageway, Knutsford services exit/entry slips, Jct 19 entry slip, and Jct 18 exit slip (23:00-06:00). M6 northbound closures include Jct 32 exit slip (20:00-06:00), Jct 33 to 34 carriageway (21:00-06:00), and Jct 33 entry slip (21:00-06:00). Further southbound closures from Jct 39 to 36 (20:00-06:00) with entry slip closures at Jct 39, 38, and 37.
