National Highways has announced planned overnight closures on major motorways and A-roads across Greater Manchester from Monday 27 July to Thursday 30 July 2026. Closures affect the M6, M60, M62, M56, M61, A34, A56, A627M, A666, M66 and M67, with work scheduled overnight between 20:00 and 06:00 on most days. A long-term closure is in place on the A34 southbound Abingdon exit slip from 05:00 on 6 July until 06:00 on 6 August.
