Glasgow Airport Offers Free 60-Minute Pick-Up and Drop-Off Option
Glasgow Airport Free 60-Minute Pick-Up Drop-Off

Glasgow Airport now offers a free one-hour pick-up and drop-off facility in its long-stay car park, helping travelers save money. Located on Arran Avenue, this option is ideal for those who do not need immediate proximity to the terminal. According to airport officials, drivers can park for up to 60 minutes at no charge, either waiting for passengers or taking a free shuttle bus to the terminal. The shuttle ride takes just seven minutes, and the terminal is also a 10-minute walk away.

Paid Parking Options

For those requiring closer parking, Glasgow Airport charges £7 for up to 15 minutes in the pick-up and drop-off zone, with £1 for each additional minute. After 30 minutes, the fee rises to £30. The multi-storey terminal car park costs £15 for 60 minutes. The airport advises drivers needing more than 15 minutes to use the multi-storey car park, where payment is accepted via credit or debit card, including contactless, at the exit barrier.

Blue Badge Holder Parking

Blue Badge holders should not use the standard pick-up and drop-off facility. Instead, they are directed to the Terminal Multi-Storey Car Park, where they receive 30 minutes of free parking for pick-up and drop-off. Upon exiting, drivers must press the buzzer at the barrier and provide their Blue Badge's 13-digit number. A photocopy of the badge is accepted if the original is not available. This free service is not for commercial, hire, or reward purposes.
