Scheme Popularity

Council leader Rob Stewart said: "The Wales Airshow is one of the highlights of the summer and we want as many families as possible to enjoy it. By extending free bus travel until 11pm on the first Saturday of the summer free bus initiative, people can enjoy the full day and evening programme without worrying about parking, traffic or the cost of getting home. The school holidays can be an expensive time, so every saving helps. A family of four can save around £20 on a single journey, leaving more money to spend on enjoying the day."
