Euston Station Chaos as Bus Hits Railway Bridge, Stranding Passengers

A bus collided with a railway bridge in Harrow, West London, on Sunday afternoon, causing significant disruption at London Euston station. The incident affected trains between Euston and Watford Junction, leading to delays of up to 15 minutes and widespread frustration among passengers.

National Rail confirmed the delays on social media, stating that trains running between London Euston and Watford Junction may be delayed following a vehicle colliding with a bridge at Harrow & Wealdstone. Avanti West Coast services were particularly impacted, with a spokesperson apologising for the delays caused by the bus collision.

Passengers took to social media to express their anger, with one reporting being stuck for an hour with no updates, and another criticising the lack of communication from staff on board a delayed train from Stafford to Euston. The Metropolitan Police described the crash as minor, with no injuries or structural damage reported.
