A driver was taken to hospital after a dump truck overturned on Merlins Hill in Haverfordwest, spilling rubble across the road and causing significant disruption.

Dyfed-Powys Police received reports of a single-vehicle collision at approximately 2:50 PM on Monday, June 29. The truck had overturned, scattering debris across the carriageway. The driver, whose injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, was transported to hospital for treatment.
Road Closure and Traffic Impact
The road was closed from around 2:50 PM for nearly two hours while emergency services worked to recover the vehicle and clear the rubble. Traffic built up along the busy route until the road reopened at approximately 4:15 PM.
Police Statement
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police stated: 'Dyfed-Powys Police received reports of a single-vehicle collision on Merlins Hill, Haverfordwest at around 2:50pm on Monday 29 June.' The statement added: 'A truck was reported to have overturned and spilled rubble on to the road. The driver of the truck was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.'
