Clarkson's Farm has returned to screens, and with it comes bustling Cotswolds lanes and increased crowds visiting the ever-popular Diddly Squat Farm. The fifth season presents former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson and his team with fresh challenges, from government budgets to high-tech crop treatments.

After expanding his Clarkson's Farm venture from Diddly Squat and the Hawkstone brewery into The Farmer's Dog pub in Burford, footfall to the now-famous farm remains high. Part one of the Prime Video hit landed on Wednesday, 3 June, with subsequent episodes releasing on 10 June and the final two on 17 June.

Where is Diddly Squat Farm Shop?

Clarkson's 1,000-acre farm sits just outside the village of Chadlington near Chipping Norton in the heart of the west Oxfordshire Cotswold Hills (5-12 Chipping Norton Road, Chipping Norton, OX7 3PE). The market town also boasts a mix of antique shops, traditional pubs, and the Grade I-listed St Mary's Church, making it ideal for a quintessential English staycation. Can you visit Diddly Squat Farm Shop?

The farm shop has been popular since it first opened in 2020. Expect long queues and a car park at maximum capacity by noon on most weekends. Diddly Squat Farm Shop is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9:30am to 4:30pm, including bank holiday weekends. Four-legged friends are welcome on site, except inside the shop.

Is the Diddly Squat restaurant still open?

The Big View Cafe, selling Clarkson's own Hawkstone beer and a seasonal brioche burger menu by Baste Food, including creative veggie options, has set up tables in the farm's lambing barn for post-queue bites Wednesday through Sunday since 2021. Due to unpredictable queues, it is not possible to book the Big View Cafe or a slot to visit the farm shop.

Where is The Farmer's Dog pub?

Clarkson opened country pub The Farmer's Dog, a village boozer on five acres of countryside near Burford, in August 2024. He bought the pub near his Diddly Squat Farm and Hawkstone Lager brewery for less than £1 million after a lengthy search seen on screen in season four of Clarkson's Farm. The pub is open Tuesday through Sunday with an all-British menu, The Grand Tour tent, and butcher and bottle shop, Hops & Chops. The first four episodes of Clarkson's Farm season five are streaming now on Prime Video.
