Clarkson's Farm is back on screens, bringing renewed attention to the Cotswolds locations featured in the show. The fifth series, now streaming on Prime Video, follows Jeremy Clarkson and his team as they tackle new challenges, from government budgets to high-tech crop treatments.
The farm shop at Diddly Squat, located near Chadlington in Oxfordshire, has been popular since it opened in 2020. Visitors can expect queues and a full car park by noon on weekends. The shop is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9.30am to 4.30pm, with dogs welcome on site but not inside.
The Big View Cafe, serving Hawkstone beer and a seasonal burger menu by Baste Food, operates Wednesday to Sunday in the lambing barn. No bookings are available for the cafe or farm shop due to unpredictable queues.
In August 2024, Clarkson opened The Farmer's Dog, a country pub near Burford, after a lengthy search shown in season four. The pub is open Tuesday to Sunday, offering an all-British menu, a Grand Tour tent, and a butcher and bottle shop called Hops & Chops.
Clarkson's 1,000-acre farm is a two-hour drive from central London, or a train from Paddington to Charlbury taking one hour and ten minutes. The nearby town of Chipping Norton offers antique shops, pubs, and St Mary's Church for a quintessential English staycation.
