Major Rail Disruption After Bridge Collapse Hits Liverpool Lime Street
Bridge Collapse Causes Major Rail Disruption in Liverpool

Passengers are facing major travel disruption this afternoon after a partially collapsed bridge brought key railway lines to a standstill. Rail users have been warned to expect cancellations, lengthy delays and diverted services following the incident, which occurred between Nuneaton and Rugby on Thursday, June 11.

Bridge Collapse Blocks All Lines

The bridge collapse has forced the closure of all railway lines through the area, causing significant disruption to services between Liverpool and London. Trains that would normally run between Liverpool Lime Street and London Euston are being diverted via Birmingham, with disruption expected to continue throughout the day.

National Rail said: "A bridge having partially collapsed between Nuneaton and Rugby means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or diverted via Birmingham."
