The footage captures a red SUV driving along a busy road in the residential area of Vidyaranyapura, Bangalore. A six-year-old boy can be seen standing through the vehicle's sunroof, apparently enjoying the ride. As the car continues to move forward, the child remains leaning out, unaware of the impending danger.
Suddenly, the SUV passes under an overhead barrier. The boy's head snaps backwards as he is struck hard by the structure. At the end of the clip, the car drives on, and the child is seen quickly ducking back inside the vehicle.

The video, shared widely on X (formerly Twitter), has provoked a strong reaction from viewers, with many expressing concern over road safety and parental negligence.

According to police reports, the vehicle was being driven by the boy's brother-in-law, with a female passenger also present. Authorities have confirmed that, thankfully, the six-year-old did not sustain any serious injuries.
This incident serves as a grim reminder of the potential consequences. In a separate and tragic 2023 case, an 18-year-old lost his life in a similar event in Canada. Edmonton Police reported that the teen was travelling in a Toyota Camry in the West Edmonton Mall parking lot when he stuck his head through the sunroof, struck a concrete beam, and later died from his injuries.
