A green BMW crashed through a ground-floor flat in Nottingham on Friday night, forcing residents to evacuate the building over concerns about structural damage.
Crash Details
The incident occurred at the junction of Arkwright Way and Meadows Way in The Meadows area around 9pm to 10pm. Emergency services arrived to find the vehicle had plowed into a flat at Ryehill House flats, with the front of the car entering what appeared to be a kitchen.
Images from the scene show the entire front of the green BMW inside the building, with debris scattered around. Residents were ordered to leave their homes as a precautionary measure while authorities assessed the structural integrity of the apartment block.
