The A690 in County Durham is closed eastbound following a collision in Willington. The road was previously closed in both directions.
The crash took place just before 7.45am on Wednesday, between the adjoining roads of Teasdales Yard and Stony Bank.
Traffic build-up on Commercial Street
The incident has caused traffic to build up on Commercial Street, the town's busiest road. There is also congestion on the turnoff to Stony Bank.
