A collision between a van and a truck on the A19 near Dalton Park caused significant rush hour delays on Tuesday morning. Durham Constabulary confirmed that officers were called to the scene on the southbound carriageway just after 8.10am on June 29.
No Injuries Reported in Two-Vehicle Collision
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. However, commuters faced long delays between the A182 Murton Interchange, Cold Hesledon, and the A182 Hall Walks, Easington as emergency services managed the scene.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "Police were called just after 8.10am today (June 29) following a two-vehicle collision on the A19 near the Dalton Park junction involving a van and a truck. Nobody was injured during the incident." The delays extended through the morning rush hour, causing significant disruption for drivers in the area.
