A Korean tourist visiting the UK for the first time was left breathless by the fast pace of Londoners, describing escalators as moving about 1.5 times faster than in Korea. The visitor, on a five-day solo trip, said keeping up with locals left them out of breath.
The tourist praised London's diversity, calling it 'peaceful and harmonious' compared to their home country. They also noted the well-maintained stone pavements, which were less slippery than expected despite frequent rain, and the frequent Tube trains.
Despite a packed itinerary including the British Museum, Tower of London, and Westminster Abbey, the highlight was attending a free 5pm service at Westminster Abbey. The tourist joined a queue after their paid tour and enjoyed the choir's singing, calling it a 'meaningful experience'.
The visitor used a London Pass to visit three major attractions in one day, finding it good value despite a tight schedule. They also visited St. Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London, describing the capital as 'the most vibrant' city they had ever visited.
