Having already taken Newcastle by storm, jacket potato sensations Spud Bros will have a stall at The Hoppings 2026. The announcement comes after some people queued from 4am ahead of their first Tyneside shop opening last week.

The Hoppings, one of the biggest events in the North East, will take place on the Town Moor from Friday, June 19. This year, the funfair features Elevate85, billed as the biggest ride ever at Europe's largest travelling funfair, standing at 85 metres high.
Spud Bros Express, the popular jacket potato brand, is expected to draw huge crowds. Co-founder Jacob Nelson expressed excitement: "We've always had so much love from Newcastle, so bringing SpudBros to The Hoppings feels massive for us. To be part of one of the most iconic events in the North East is fantastic."
The brand is known for its loyal following, with long queues forming early for its openings. Organizers anticipate high demand for their loaded potatoes at the fair.
