A 250-mile pub crawl visiting six JD Wetherspoon pubs in North Wales has proved so popular that a second coach has been added after the first sold out. The 'Spoons Pilgrimage', organised by Lloyds Coaches, departs from Dolgellau at 9.15am on Saturday, June 27, and returns after visiting pubs in Oswestry, Ruthin, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, Caernarfon, and Pwllheli.
Tickets cost £20, not including drinks, and each stop lasts 45 minutes. The tour begins at the Wilfred Owen in Oswestry at noon, then moves to The Castle Hotel in Ruthin, The Picture House in Colwyn Bay, the Palladium in Llandudno, Tafarn y Porth in Caernarfon, and ends at Pen Cob in Pwllheli at 7.30pm.
Lloyds Coaches announced the second coach on Wednesday afternoon after the initial Facebook post gained significant traction. The company said: 'We're filling up faster than a pint of Ruddles on a Tuesday.' The tour crosses six county boundaries and is described as a 'legendary day out without the who's driving debate'.
