Why Visit Margate?

Whether you spend your weekends at the pub with family or friends, it's nice to have a day out. If you fancy venturing outside your local area, there are many lovely spots to visit—like the village named the 'prettiest in England'. But if you crave some sand as the UK faces 29°C heat this weekend, you can add this cute location to your bucket list. The best part? The destination is just a short train ride away from London. You can build sandcastles at the beach, enjoy an ice cream, or take a stroll down the cobbled streets.

The place we're talking about is Margate, Kent. A TikTok page recently shared a snippet of the seaside town, showcasing ice cream stalls and adorable spots to pick up flowers. The page, known as @cangotravelling, also showed where to find retro sweets from your childhood and The Bus Cafe, a popular brunch spot.
