A flight attendant has sparked outrage after revealing the 'disgusting' toilet habits of passengers that drive cabin crew up the wall. Natalie Magee, 42, from Colorado, took to TikTok to share her pet peeves, which include passengers not washing their hands after using the lavatory.
In the video, Magee said: 'There are so many pet peeves, like when people don't shut the bathroom door or leave the bathroom a mess. Also when you can hear it flush but not the sink so you know they didn't wash their hands.' She added that flight attendants always know when passengers skip handwashing.
Another habit Magee condemned is passengers walking to the toilet barefoot. One TikTok user responded: 'Please, nobody take their shoes off at all! Disgusting.' Magee urged travellers to treat the aircraft as they would their own home and be tidy and respectful.
The video has garnered thousands of comments, with many users expressing shock at the lack of hygiene. Some shared their own experiences of encountering messy toilets on flights. Magee hopes her message will encourage better behaviour among passengers.
