New Eurocamp near Venice with Italy's biggest waterpark

Planning your summer 2027 getaway? A new Eurocamp opening is set to be a top choice for those who enjoy beach and pool holidays while staying close to a popular city break destination.

New Eurocamp near Venice with record-breaking waterpark

Scheduled to open in May 2027, hu Eraclea Mare is a brand-new camping village on the Adriatic coast near Venice. Spanning over 100 hectares, it sits on a stunning stretch of Blue Flag beach. Bookings are already open on the Eurocamp website from May 1 next year, just in time for a half-term trip to Italy.

According to Eurocamp, the centerpiece of this new site will be a nine-hectare water park, the largest ever built in an Italian holiday village. It features six pools, including Olympic and semi-Olympic sized options, lagoons, waterslides, and a 40,000 square metre solarium.

Direct beach access and local attractions

Beyond the pools, the park offers direct access to the long sandy Spiaggia Pannolenci, known for its calm, shallow waters ideal for swimming and sunbathing. Shaded wooded trails lead to the nearby town of Eraclea Mare. On land, guests can enjoy activities such as a tree experience, zip line, mini golf, paintball, and a wide variety of sports for the whole family.

The mega-park will also include 30 food and drink outlets, according to Eurocamp's website, featuring authentic Italian and Venetian restaurants, gelato shops, and bars. In the evenings, a 1,500-seat outdoor theatre will host family-friendly entertainment, including music and lively events.

Day trips to Venice and the Dolomites

The new Eurocamp is well-located for day trips to Venice, allowing visitors to combine a sightseeing city break with a family holiday. The ferry port of Punta Sabbioni is just a 40-minute drive away, where you can park your car and take a scenic 30-minute boat ride to Venice. The ferry docks near Piazza San Marco, with many top sightseeing spots within walking distance.

Outdoor enthusiasts can also explore the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, known as the Dolomites, featuring vast mountains and dense forests popular for hiking, sailing on serene lakes, and canyoning.

The Adriatic coast offers many holiday parks along the sparkling sea. For those visiting this summer, existing options include the 4-star Holiday Center Pra' Delle Torri, which offers camping, a holiday village with mobile homes, and an onsite hotel, all with access to a waterpark with slides. Alternatively, the Park Hotel Pineta in Eraclea Mare provides a private sandy beach and spacious family rooms.
