Manchester City has announced that its new Museum Experience will open on December 14 at the Etihad Campus, with tickets now available.
The museum will occupy 1,700 square metres across ten zones and forms part of the £300m Medlock Square entertainment district, which already includes Radisson Blu's The Medlock hotel and restaurants such as Zadies and Little Beasts.
Opening Exhibition and Club History
The museum opens with a temporary exhibition exploring the career of Pep Guardiola, who managed City from 2016 to 2026. Visitors can also explore original memorabilia, interactive technology and nostalgic environments from the club's history, including references to City's time at Maine Road in Moss Side from 1923 to 2003 and its foundation in 1880.
The museum was designed by Ralph Appelbaum Associates (RAA), the firm behind The Crown Jewels Exhibition at the Tower of London and the London Transport Museum. It will display all of the club's 49 major trophies.
Interactive Features and Ticket Details
The experience includes a 360-degree immersive cinema showing City's greatest moments and PUMA Arena challenges where visitors can test their football skills.
Tickets start at £20 per adult, with add-ons such as VIP stadium tours and matchday pitch walk tours available via the Manchester City website.
Jeremy Maxton, Director of Visitor Attractions at Manchester City Football Club, said: "The Museum Experience has been designed as a destination that goes beyond just the pitch."
"Whether you're a lifelong supporter, visiting Manchester for a weekend, or simply looking for a unique day out, we've created an experience that offers something for everyone," he added. "It's been a huge project to bring together and we're looking forward to people seeing it for themselves later this year."
