Jet2 has confirmed the launch of a new range of travel options for Brits seeking winter sunshine. The 2027/28 Winter Sun programme will be the largest ever offered by the leisure airline and tour operator.
Record Capacity and Destinations
The programme will feature nearly 4.5 million seats for winter flying to 17 destinations from airports including Belfast International, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, London Gatwick, London Stansted, London Luton, Manchester and Newcastle International.
It includes 181 routes, such as the Canary Islands (Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, La Palma), Mainland Spain (Alicante, Malaga), Balearics (Majorca), Portugal (Faro and Madeira), Turkey (Antalya), Malta, Morocco (Marrakech and Agadir), Cyprus (Paphos), and Egypt (Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada).
First to Market
Jet2 claims to be the first airline and tour operator to go on sale for winter 2027/28. Over the coming weeks, it will also reveal details of its Ski, City Breaks and Iceland programmes for that season.
