Jet2's Black Friday sale has launched early for 2026, offering holidays under £324 this winter with a £200 discount per booking for couples (£100 per person). One highlighted deal is a Christmas break in the Austrian capital, Vienna, which is widely considered to have some of the best Christmas markets in the world.
What the Vienna Deal Includes
The trip includes return flights and a three-night stay in a four-star hotel. Scots can book the trip to Vienna for £324 next month, based on dates from Thursday, November 19, until Sunday, November 22. The package includes direct flights to and from Edinburgh Airport and a stay at the NH Danube City hotel in the city.
As this is a Jet2 city break deal, the price also includes 22kg of luggage, so there is no need to add on extra baggage. The timing coincides with the arrival of festivities in the Austrian capital, as all the major Christmas markets open that same weekend on November 20. However, Vienna's Christmas markets can begin as early as November 6 for those wanting to get away earlier in the month.
Festive Attractions in Vienna
The markets famously transform the city's historic squares into festive wonderlands from mid-November through to late December. Thousands travel miles each year to visit the festive displays, which feature wooden artisan stalls, the scent of roasted chestnuts and gingerbread, and hot mugs of Glühwein, which is mulled wine.
Vienna's largest and most famous market at Rathausplatz sits in front of City Hall. It features over 150 wooden stalls, an illuminated ice-skating path, children's workshops, and a giant Christmas tree. The Schönbrunn Palace markets are also highly popular, set against the grand imperial backdrop and offering high-quality handcrafted gifts, historical charm, and seasonal treats.
Food and Booking Details
Popular Austrian food at these markets includes Käsekrainer, which is smoked pork sausages filled with pockets of melting cheese, or classic grilled Bratwursts, served hot in a crisp roll with mustard.
Jet2's Black Friday sale is live now and can also be used for family bookings with savings up to £400 based on a family of four. The Vienna Christmas Market deal, from Thursday, November 19, until Sunday, November 22, is available now.
