Whether you like football or not, it will be hard to escape it over the next few weeks as the World Cup takes place. Pubs and attractions will be doing what they can to pull in the customers throughout the tournament and one of them is Hollywood Bowl, which has launched a new offer 'designed to get the whole nation cheering, chanting, and striking'.
Free Bowling for Fans with Star Surnames
In a bid to bring the big-tournament buzz to the lanes this summer, guests who share a surname with Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane will be able to bowl for free across the group-stage tournament period at all Hollywood Bowl centres nationwide. All guests need to do to be granted one free game of bowling - between June 11 and 28 - is show a form of valid ID on entry at the centre.
It would usually cost a family of four around £30 to have one game of bowling and the offer's running nationwide, including sites across Greater Manchester, which include Ashton Leisure Park in Tameside, The Rock Bury, Rochdale Putt & Play, Bolton and Wigan.

Dave Williams, operations director at Hollywood Bowl, said: “Nothing brings people together like a major tournament – the excitement, the drama, and those unforgettable moments. We wanted to create an offer that feels fun, inclusive and celebratory. If your surname is Bellingham and Kane we’ll see you on the lanes, and your game is on us.”
From pre-match meetups to post-match celebrations, guests can make a full day of it at Hollywood Bowl with the arcade and the American-style food and drinks in the diner. Selected Hollywood Bowl centres will be opening late for midweek and weekend fixtures and will screen all the biggest sporting events across large HD TVs, meaning no one will miss the action.

The World Cup Strike Like a Star offer is valid at all Hollywood Bowl centres across the UK during the group stage, which runs from June 11 to June 28.
