An artisan market is returning to Ellesmere Port this August bank holiday weekend. Ellesmere Port's Market Square will host a range of traders and events on Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30.
Weekend line-up
There will be something different each day, with Toy Story characters and live music from local performers on Saturday. Sunday will be a community day, featuring local groups, Theatre Porto and more live performances.
Saturday will run from 10am to 3pm, whereas Sunday will stop an hour earlier, finishing at 3pm, with the regular Market Square traders also open throughout the weekend, offering food, goods and local services.

There are a number of other events happening near Ellesmere Port that also might be worth checking out. Ricky Tomlinson will be in conversation about his life and career on Saturday, August 29 at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton. Hosted by Asa Murphy, the event will see Ricky share stories of his memorable television roles in Brookside and The Royle Family.
A Jurassic Park family fun day is also being held on Sunday, August 30 from 1pm to 5pm in Moreton. Visitors can expect bouncy castles, food and craft stalls, live entertainment and more.

If you are after another market, New Brighton Continental Mark is happening. From Friday, August 28 to Monday, August 31, the market's international stalls, activities, food and crafts will line New Brighton's promenade. It is free to attend.
