EasyJet passengers can skip airport queues with little-known service
EasyJet passengers skip airport queues with service

Passengers have expressed a desire to have known about a service that allows them to skip airport queues sooner. Some airline travelers can book this service to expedite their travel days.

How the Service Works

Holidaymakers flying with easyJet can bypass queues at the airport thanks to a little-known service. According to the easyJet website, passengers departing from London Gatwick or Geneva Airport can book Airportr's baggage service for a more seamless travel experience. Those using the service do not need to worry about carrying their bags or waiting in the bag drop queue. Instead, they can proceed directly to security while tracking their luggage via their mobile phones.

Benefits for Passengers

easyJet stated: "If you're flying from London Gatwick or Geneva Airport, you can now get your baggage collected and checked in by our friends at Airportr. This service allows you to travel suitcase-free to the airport, skip the Bag Drop queues and head straight to security. You can also track your bags digitally throughout your journey."

Customers landing in Geneva can also have their luggage delivered straight to their hotel, home, or office. This means anyone flying from London Gatwick to Geneva has the option of traveling entirely luggage-free, door-to-door.

Special Items and Additional Services

The service is particularly helpful for passengers transporting bulky items. easyJet explains: "Airportr will be able to transport and check-in sports equipment such as golf clubs, ski equipment, or bicycles at no additional charge. If you're traveling with children, you can also check-in items such as pushchairs or car seats. Airportr considers things such as buggies and pushchairs as normal items of baggage, so they must be included in the number of bags on your booking."

Airportr also offers services for other airlines, including British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.

Customer Reviews

On Trustpilot, Airportr has an 'excellent' rating and an overall score of 4.7 out of five. One reviewer wrote: "This is our 2nd year using Airportr to take two cases to Gatwick Airport and arrange loading onto our plane so that we next saw the cases at the destination airport. We had a three-hour collection slot, but on the day, we were given a shorter time slot, and the collector arrived within the allotted time. Passports, air tickets, etc were checked and off went the luggage. We were free to go to the airport with just hand luggage. We did not have to queue for ages at the airline but just went on to security. Excellent."

Another review stated: "This was the best thing ever! Very reasonable price, cases collected, so no dragging them to the airport and straight to security without having to queue at check in once we reached the airport. I would do this for every single holiday if I could!"

Someone else commented: "I wish I'd known about this service before, was a fantastic start to our holiday not having to check cases in and we could arrive at the airport in a leisurely manner and start our holiday feeling relaxed rather than stressed as normal!!" A reviewer agreed: "Wish I'd known about this service ages ago, honestly."
