Disney World’s Cinderella Castle Gets Stunning New Colours for 70th Anniversary

Walt Disney World Resort is giving its iconic Cinderella Castle a magical makeover to mark 70 years since the release of the classic film. The transformation will introduce a bold, shimmering and regal new colour scheme, created by Walt Disney Imagineering.

The main structure of the castle will be painted a light pink shade, while the roofs of its many turrets will become a dark cobalt blue. Gold details will be added to complete the fairytale look, according to concept images released by Disney.

Work has already begun on the castle and is expected to continue into the summer. Disney has reassured visitors that popular attractions such as Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire and Happily Ever After will still be available during the renovations.
