Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed that Zivile Jokubonyte, 29, and her two-year-old son Saliamonas flew from Bristol Airport to Valencia on 31 August. The pair have not been heard from since, raising concerns for their welfare.
Ms Jokubonyte, a Lithuanian national residing in Bridgwater, Somerset, has not contacted her mother since 4 September. Police describe her disappearance as 'unexpected' and are working with Spanish authorities to locate her.
The force has appealed for Ms Jokubonyte or anyone in touch with her to come forward to confirm that she and her child are safe and well. Anyone with information is urged to contact Avon and Somerset Police.
