A 23-year-old British man has been found dead in his Ibiza hotel room in what local authorities are treating as a tragic holiday incident.
Thomas Jukes, from Solihull in the West Midlands, was discovered unconscious in his accommodation in the popular resort area of San Antonio after returning from an evening out with friends.
Emergency services rushed to the Hotel Ola in the early hours of Sunday morning following reports of a man in cardiac arrest. Despite paramedics' desperate attempts to revive him, the young man was pronounced dead at the scene.

In an emotional statement released through the Foreign Office, Thomas's devastated family described him as "a wonderful son and brother who was loved by everyone who knew him."
