Brit Tourists in Mass Brawl With Ibiza Street Sellers

Police are investigating a mass brawl between British tourists and street sellers in the Ibizan party resort of San Antonio. The violent clash occurred around 6.30am on Sunday on the main beach, S'Arenal, and was captured on video.

Footage shows the holidaymakers appearing to come off worst, with one bare-chested man, described as a British tourist, being punched and kicked repeatedly. A friend attempted to intervene but fled after losing his balance on the sand. Bottles were thrown, smashing near the scene of the assaults.

Although there were reports of casualties, those involved fled before police arrived. Town hall-employed police are now analysing CCTV footage to identify those responsible. The cause of the fight remains unclear.

San Antonio's West End area is a popular destination for British tourists, particularly during the peak summer season. This incident follows a recent attack in which a British woman allegedly used a bottle to slash a hotel boss's throat after refusing to pay a drinks bill. The suspect remains at large.
