An idyllic summer holiday in the Turkish resort town of Marmaris descended into chaotic violence this week, as a heated dispute erupted into a full-scale mass brawl between a group of British tourists and local shopkeepers.
Shocking mobile phone footage, which has since gone viral, captures the moment the street fight explodes, with punches thrown, furniture wielded as weapons, and bystanders scrambling for safety. The violent clash required a significant response from local police to break up the melee.
Holiday Chaos Erupts in the Street
The incident began outside a shop, where an argument quickly escalated beyond control. The video shows a man in a blue shirt, reportedly a British tourist, being aggressively confronted before a second man in black launches himself into the fray, kicking out at the locals.
