A British tourist has died after falling 90 metres from a cliff on Sydney's northern beaches. The 25-year-old man was on an early morning outing with friends when the incident occurred.
New South Wales police said the man climbed a fence at North Head and walked to the edge of the cliff before slipping. Emergency services recovered his body from the rock platform at the bottom of the cliff around midday, approximately five hours after the fall.
The fall happened on Scenic Drive. Police have not formally identified the man but are taking steps to contact his family and friends. Four other people who were at the scene have spoken to investigators.
