British Couple Fined for Public Indecency on Pattaya Beach

A British couple has been fined after being allegedly caught engaging in a public sex act on a beach in Pattaya, Thailand. The pair, reportedly intoxicated, were spotted in chest-high water early Sunday morning, prompting complaints from shocked onlookers.

Police arrived at the scene around 2:30 am and ordered the couple to leave the water. Footage shows the half-naked man and woman stumbling along the sand, with the woman wearing only a bra and knickers. They were eventually made to dress and pack their belongings before being escorted to the police station.

At the station, the couple was charged with public indecency and each fined 1,000 Thai baht (£30). They denied having sex but apologized for their behaviour. Deputy Inspector Lt. Col. Sombat Kaewmuang stated that while the act could not be proven, they were guilty of indecent conduct in public and drunken behaviour.
