Hand Picked Hotels has launched Amber Hours deals across its countryside houses and coastal retreats, offering autumn staycations with perks such as champagne afternoon tea and complimentary room upgrades. The offers apply to stays until 30 November.
What the Amber Hours deals include
A one-night staycation includes champagne after tea and a complimentary upgrade to the next available room category. For stays of two nights or more, guests also receive a specially curated three-course dinner.
Properties range from historic houses to contemporary country estates and spa hotels. Nutfield Priory in Surrey combines Victorian Gothic character with views across rolling hills, while Brandshatch Place in Kent offers a more intimate experience set within 12 acres of parkland and gardens.
Historic and spa breaks
Ettington Park in Warwickshire sits on 40 acres alongside the River Stour, Buxted Park Hotel is a Georgian property with modern luxuries, and New Hall Hotel & Spa is England's oldest inhabited moated house.
Spa breaks are available at Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa, Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa, New Hall Hotel & Spa, Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa, Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, and Wood Hall Hotel & Spa. All two-night spa stays include a 50-minute Tranquillity Pro Sleep Ritual for two, use of the spa facilities, and a complimentary 200ml Tranquillity Pro Sleep Bath and Body Oil by Comfort Zone to take home.
Seasonal dining and afternoon tea
The Amber Hours offers also include seasonal dining and three-course meals. Guests can dine at Ettington Park's Great Drawing Room, with views across 40 acres of parkland and the River Stour, or at Crathorne Hall's Leven Restaurant, which serves modern British dishes with views of the Leven Valley. Rookery Hall offers seasonal dishes inspired by the Cheshire countryside in wood-panelled surroundings, and Rhinefield House features dining beneath the glittering jewels of the Alhambra Room in the New Forest.
Champagne afternoon tea experiences celebrate autumnal flavours such as orchard fruits, warming spices, apple and cinnamon, alongside traditional scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry conserve. Guests can conclude their afternoon with a walk through the hotel grounds before settling into a lounge chair to finish a book.
