Sky Users Hit by Frustrating ITVX Glitch on Stream and Glass

Sky customers are experiencing a frustrating glitch on the ITVX app, where programmes randomly skip to the end. The issue, which began late last week, affects Sky Stream boxes and Glass TVs, interrupting viewing by jumping to credits without user input.

Users have reported the problem on Sky's forum, with one member, Dazzasky, stating: 'ITV Player randomly skips ahead, usually right to the end of the episode and is making it quite difficult tbh... this has been happening for the last 4 or 5 days.' Another user, Dawn, added that the issue often occurs at the start of a programme or after an ad break.

The glitch appears to impact broadband-powered Sky devices, while it is unclear if Sky Q is affected. Sky employee Kev acknowledged the problem online, saying: 'We can understand how frustrating this must be and have escalated the problem to our support teams. They will work with ITV to fix the issue.'
