Shark, best known for its vacuum cleaners, has launched a new product that blows rather than sucks. The Shark blastboss is a handheld, cordless blower that delivers gusts of up to 190mph, designed for both indoor and outdoor cleaning tasks. Priced at £129.99, it is available in five pastel colours including strawberry pink.
The blastboss is essentially a miniature leaf blower with a broom attachment, intended for blasting dirt from patios, cars, and even living rooms. Shark describes it as an “indoor-outdoor air blasting system”, bridging the gap between bulky garden blowers and cans of compressed air used for cleaning keyboards. The battery-powered unit features a variable-speed trigger, allowing users to adjust airflow up to the top speed of a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT.
To prevent accidental damage, the blastboss comes with interchangeable attachments. The blastbroom combines a sweeping brush with directed airflow to lift and launch debris in one pass, ideal for clearing sawdust or wet leaves. An extension wand reaches under sofas, while a precision nozzle concentrates airflow into a tight stream for dusting keyboards, car vents, or window tracks.
This is not Shark’s first foray into air treatment products; it recently launched the Shark chillpill handheld fan. The blastboss is available now from the Shark website, and a review is forthcoming.
