An OnlyFans model known as Kamryn Renae has been rescued after falling ill while attempting to summit Mount Whitney, the highest peak in the contiguous United States. The influencer, who has been documenting her hike along the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada, shared her ordeal with her 183,000 Instagram followers.
Kamryn set out to climb the 14,505-foot mountain in Inyo County, California, after hiking approximately 25 miles to reach its base. She described the early part of the day as beautiful, but admitted she had limited experience with mountain climbing, having only summited one much smaller peak before.
During the ascent, conditions became challenging as she navigated slanted snow using an ice ax. Feeling unwell, she set up camp about two miles from the summit, hoping to rest and continue. However, her condition worsened, and she began vomiting, prompting her to call for help. Unable to descend on her own, she remained stranded until the next day.
Kamryn was eventually assisted down the mountain by a group of hikers and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment. She attributed her illness to contaminated water from a natural source, describing it as 'really bad timing.' The National Park Service and Inyo County Search and Rescue have been contacted for comment on their involvement.
