The Midea 2-in-1 Bladeless Tower Fan, which combines cooling and air purification, is currently available on Amazon for £84.54, down from its £139.99 RRP as part of Prime Day deals. The discount represents a 40% saving on the Dark Blue model.
Features and Specifications
According to Midea, the fan features a bladeless design intended to provide safer operation around children and pets. It is compatible with WiFi, the Midea app and Google Assistant, allowing users to control settings through a smartphone or voice commands.
The fan is powered by a DC motor that Midea says can deliver wind speeds of up to 210 metres per minute, with airflow reaching up to 7.5 metres. The company also claims it operates at just 35dB, helping to maintain a quieter environment.
Air Purification Capabilities
In addition to cooling, the appliance features an H13 True HEPA filter. Midea says the filter can remove up to 99.97% of allergens and airborne particles as small as 0.3 micrometres. An ioniser mode is also included to help reduce dust and improve air quality.
Smart Controls and Modes
One of the key features is Midea's SensiCool technology, which uses built-in sensors to detect room temperature and automatically adjust airflow. The fan also includes an Auto Sleep Mode designed to provide quieter overnight operation.
Users can customise airflow using 10 speed settings, four operating modes and 75-degree oscillation. Controls are available through the app, an LED touchscreen panel or the included remote control. A 12-hour timer is also built in.
Customer Reviews
Buyers have left a number of positive reviews praising its performance and features. One satisfied shopper wrote: "Absolutely blown away! I'm someone who sleeps with a fan on all night and have done for years, so I'm somewhat of an expert on fans. What I received was a very well-built piece of equipment. A great product, easy to set up and use."
Another customer commented: "Very good tower fan. Used it all summer 2025. I have a Dyson tower fan too and I can say this is better for the price. The air feels a little bit cooler too."
Rounding off the reviews, one happy buyer wrote: "Very pleased with this tower fan. It was easy to set up and connects to Alexa without any issues. The fan is quiet, has good airflow and looks modern in the room."
A more critical review noted: "Sorry, a bit disappointing for the money. Had it on 10 the last couple of days and it still didn't cool my room at 30 degrees. Had to get my noisy old traditional fan back out."
Another less positive review said: "This works well in a ventilated large room, but I have a shoebox bedroom and even with the window open it just blows out warm air. Great for large spaces but not ideal for small rooms."
Alternatives on the Market
For those considering alternatives, the Dyson AM07 Cool Tower Fan is currently available from Argos for £349.99. Another option is the Dunelm 32-inch White Tower Fan, which is available for £30.
