Man Utd still working on deals after deadline despite Ait-Nouri twist

Manchester United are still working to finalise Michael Carrick's squad despite the summer transfer window closing at 11pm on Tuesday. The club did not sign or sell any player on deadline day, but remain active in the hours after the official Premier League window closed.

Four signings and 24 departures

In total, United signed Carlos Baleba, Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos and Karl Darlow, while also letting 24 players leave the club.

Fans have voiced their outrage that a left-back was not brought in to compete with Luke Shaw, after a failed attempt to sensationally sign Manchester City defender Rayan Ait-Nouri on deadline day.
