Jarrod Bowen has appeared in West Ham United's new kit launch for the 2026/27 season, providing a hint about his future amid links to Manchester United. The 29-year-old winger has been tipped for a move from the London Stadium following West Ham's relegation to the Championship, with Michael Carrick's side joining Aston Villa and Everton in the race for his signature.
Bowen Featured Prominently in Kit Launch
In a 15-second clip shared on West Ham's social media, Bowen is the first player shown, seated with a serious expression. Tomas Soucek also appears in the brief video. The timing suggests it was either recorded before the World Cup began or after the Czech Republic's elimination last Thursday, making it difficult to interpret as a definitive statement on Bowen's future. However, his inclusion indicates West Ham are optimistic he will wear that kit next season.
West Ham's Transfer Position
After selling Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham for £85 million, West Ham are not under pressure to offload their captain and would prefer to retain him as they target an immediate return to the Premier League. Bowen's teammate Crysencio Summerville has also been linked with a move to Old Trafford, but Manchester United's focus appears to be on midfield signings.
Manchester United's Midfield Targets
Having missed out on Fernandes, Manchester United have switched their focus to Bournemouth's Alex Scott, with Arsenal as main competition. The Cherries are not open to selling the 22-year-old. Other targets include Bournemouth's Tyler Adams and Borussia Dortmund's Felix Nmecha, following his strong World Cup displays for Germany. Elliot Anderson was their top target but opted for a £116 million move to Manchester City. United have already agreed a signing for Ederson and are expected to seal at least one more midfield signing, especially after Manuel Ugarte's injury.
