Life360 Tile Tracker Beats AirTag at £13.75 Each

The Life360 Tile Bluetooth Tracker is now available for £13.75 per tile when bought in a four-pack, significantly undercutting Apple's AirTag which costs £29 each. Frequent travellers have described the device as a 'life-changer' for keeping tabs on luggage and keys, just in time for the summer holiday season.

Price and Availability

The four-pack of Life360 Tile trackers has been reduced from £79.99 to £54.99 on Amazon, working out at less than £14 per tile. A single tile is also available for £16.99 in various colours. The tracker uses Bluetooth technology and connects to the Life360 app on both iOS and Android devices, a feature not shared by Apple or Samsung rivals.

Features and Compatibility

The Life360 Tile can be attached to keys, bags, suitcases, or even a pet's collar. Users can locate items via the app's map, ring the tracker to find misplaced items at home, and activate an SOS alert to notify loved ones. Unlike the Apple AirTag, which requires iOS 14.5 or later, and the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2, which only works with Samsung Galaxy smartphones running Android 11 or higher, the Life360 Tile is compatible with all iOS and Android devices.

Customer Reviews and Ratings

With over 1,000 units sold in the past month and an average rating of 4.2 out of five stars from nearly 15,000 reviews, the Life360 Tile has garnered praise from shoppers. One reviewer said: 'I travel on a regular basis. The first time I used this tracker in my suitcase, my suitcase went missing at the destination airport! I went to the missing luggage office and showed them the tracker app. They were able to quickly and accurately trace my suitcase.'

Another customer described it as a 'life changer', writing: 'I travel for work 200-250 nights a year... when I do check a bag, these are a lifesaver. I also have them in my purse, on my keys, my laptop bag, carry-on, and all my luggage.' A third said: 'Not remembering where my keys are is a thing of the past.'

Criticisms

Some users noted drawbacks. One reviewer commented: 'It works just fine but the battery has run out after 11 months... my previous tiles lasted a good 2/3 years.' Another said: 'Good for tracking/finding items but the bit that holds it on your keyring is a bit flimsy.'
