Jackery has launched a sale offering up to £1,039 off its portable power stations, with models suitable for autumn camping trips and home backup power. The promotion covers a range of options, from compact units for charging everyday devices to high-capacity stations capable of running compatible appliances during road trips or power cuts.
Explorer 1000 v2 price cut
Shoppers needing portable power for smaller devices can choose one of Jackery's more compact Explorer models. For greater capacity, the Explorer 1000 v2 is reduced to £398 from £899, offering 1,070Wh and weighing 10.8kg. It is described as a versatile option for camping, caravanning and emergency backup.
The unit uses LiFePO4 battery cells designed for around 4,000 charging cycles and can reach full charge in as little as one hour using its Emergency Super Charging mode. An off-grid option bundles the Explorer 1000 v2 with a 100W solar panel.
High-capacity bundles and alternatives
At the upper end of the range, Jackery's larger-capacity power stations and bundles include the 3kWh Solar Bundle Best Seller at £1,679, down from £2,599. These are aimed at shoppers wanting more power for home backup, caravanning or longer off-grid trips.
Depending on the model, these units can power equipment including fridges, lights, Wi-Fi routers, coffee makers and other compatible appliances for over 30 hours. Selected versions are also available bundled with solar panels for off-grid charging. More models and solar generator bundles are included in the promotion, with capacities to suit everything from weekend camping to emergency home backup.
Alternative options include the DJI Power 2000 Portable Power Station at £959 from Currys, which offers up to 3,000W power output and 29dB quiet operation, and the EcoFlow Delta 3 Max Plus Portable Power Station at £1,099 from Argos, which has a 4,000-cycle battery life for home backup or off-grid use.
Shopper feedback
The Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 has received positive reviews, with one customer writing: “First, this item is robust and space-efficient, fitting seamlessly in my workspace... When the power goes out, it becomes a real game changer. I can continue my tasks as if everything is normal, which is quite impressive. The most advantageous aspect for me? The USB-C ports. I can connect my Mac directly to it without needing an adapter. Incredibly useful!”
Another added: “Very well thought out and designed piece of kit. Has helped us out of quite a few situations where power simply wasn't available. Easy to use with oodles of options - especially power saving and fast charging for emergencies.”
One reviewer offered a mixed view: “Service homework, delivery and packaging were great. Unfortunately when I try to use the power station I got an error code, this is being looked into and customer service so far has been great.”
Overall, most buyers were satisfied, with one commenting: “Great item. Allows me to put my solar panels in different places whilst keeping the battery pack inside.”
